Arômes illustrés

In partnership with Rombouts cafés and Sabam, Arômes illustrés was the subject of a competition inviting professional and amateur illustrators living, working or studying in Belgium to explore the world of coffee through the graphic codes of Art Deco. The finalists' works are on display here in this iconic Brussels venue, a place of conviviality and culture, a veritable hub of social interaction, with a café at its heart.

By revisiting Art Deco through the prism of 19 contemporary illustrators, Arômes Illustrés is a project that tells us that heritage is not something we passively inherit, but something we dare to reinterpret and share.
