To celebrate the centenary of Art Deco, Halles Saint-Géry, in collaboration with ZENA-HLYNIANY-ART-STUDIO, is highlighting the unique popularity of Art Deco tapestries from Ukraine and Poland. Originating from the weaving tradition of Hlyniany, founded in 1885 in the town of the same name in the Lviv region (Ukraine), these tapestries blend ancestral craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, and experienced real growth following their recognition in Paris in 1925.
