The exhibition “In Their Eyes: Another Look at the Humanitarian Crisis in Mali” aims to raise awareness about the humanitarian crisis in Mali through the eyes of those who experience it every day. In Mali, 6.4 million people are in need of humanitarian aid and protection. In 2024, more than 35,000 human rights violations were recorded.
The humanitarian situation is alarming. Throughout the exhibition, photographs illustrate and tell the stories of women, men, and children who have experienced loss, forced displacement, and conflict. They also feature members of humanitarian organizations who dedicate themselves daily, despite the persistent insecurity and numerous obstacles they face. These photographs tell a human, direct, and essential story within an alarming context. Detailed captions provide further information, and explanatory panels offer additional insights into the crisis.
Come and discover this photo exhibition, these faces, these life stories.
