From 12 December 2024 to 12 March 2025, exhibition 39-99 at the Halles Saint-Géry, with the participation of urban.brussels, will offer everyone a fascinating insight into the history of Brussels.

This exhibition on Brussels' post-war heritage, built between 1939 and 1999, highlights a crucial period in the city's architecture and development. This period, characterised by radical changes and innovative architectural styles, reflects the social, economic and cultural transformations of the time.

39-99 is also an invitation to reflect on innovation and the preservation of recent heritage. How can buildings from this period be reused to meet contemporary needs in terms of sustainability and urban development, while respecting their historic and architectural value?
