La Belgique émaillée

You may have come across them before without even noticing. Yet these enamel signs are true design icons that have shaped the visual identity of Belgian streets. They have withstood changing trends, the elements, and the passage of decades. “Enameled Belgium” invites you to discover how these everyday objects have become witnesses to our history and a source of inspiration for today’s artists. An exhibition where heritage meets design, and where every sign has a story to tell.

Featuring Belgian artists Liliane Vertessen, Kasper Bosmans, Hugo Janin, and Jacques Weemaels.

The exhibition, produced by Les Halles Saint-Géry, was conceived and coordinated by Jan De Plus and La Brigade. This project received generous support from Mr. Laurent Levaux.
